Pusat Kesihatan Laboratory provides a focused range of diagnostic tests to support routine screening, medical reviews, and early detection of common conditions. All tests are performed by qualified personnel using standardized procedures.
Services Offered
Hematology Tests
- Full Blood Count (FBC)
A core screening test that measures red cells, white cells, and platelets. It helps detect anemia, infection, inflammation, and some bleeding or clotting issues. Clinicians often use FBC to monitor general health, assess symptoms like fatigue or fever, and follow treatment response.
Urine Tests
- Urine Analysis
Screens for abnormalities such as protein, glucose, ketones, blood, nitrites, and leukocytes. This supports assessment for urinary tract infections, kidney issues, hydration status, and metabolic conditions. - Pregnancy Test
Detects human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in urine. Suitable for early confirmation of pregnancy and for clinical assessments that require pregnancy status.
Rapid Test Kits
- Glucometer Test
- Random Blood Sugar (RBS), taken at any time during the day. Useful for quick screening and monitoring.
- Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS)*, taken after fasting. Supports evaluation for diabetes and prediabetes.
- Cholesterol and Uric Acid Test*
Supports cardiovascular risk screening and gout assessment. - Dengue NS1 Test
Detects the dengue NS1 antigen, typically used in the early phase of illness. - Dengue Serology (IgM/IgG)
Assesses immune response to dengue infection and can help distinguish recent from past exposure. - Influenza A Test
Rapid screening for Influenza A to support timely clinical decisions. - Hepatitis B, HIV, and STD Screening for International Students
Conducted as part of health screening requirements for international student enrollment. Testing follows applicable screening protocols.
