What time of the week is the time extension? |
| Extended week hours start from Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm except for public holidays. Time extensions are only made during lecture weeks and short semester holidays. During the long semester holidays there is no extension of time. | |

ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
- Can I get a back-dated MC (medical certificate)?
No. The MC is a recommendation for leave from work / class on the grounds of medical illness diagnosed by the doctor after medical consultation and examination has been made. It is unethical to issue a MC without examining the patient. - When should a request for medical standby be made?
Application must be submitted to the Head of PKU at least two weeks prior to the program. We reserve the right to reject any application if it overlaps with other programmes. - Do I need to bring a guarantee letter (GL) when seeking treatment at government hospitals?
Yes, so that students can get free treatment at government hospitals. - Can I claim my hospital bills from the university?
Yes, any hospital / clinic bills from the government sector can be claimed at PKU. Students will need to bring the receipt as proof of payment, before claiming. Students can also download the form from this website.
